Terms of sale

These terms apply to orders from Bold Coast Metal Fabrication LLC, Trescott, Maine ("we").

Products

Our brackets are decorative. They are not engineered, tested or rated to carry any load. Your framing must be designed and built to stand on its own without them. You are responsible for your framing, connections and fasteners and for following local building codes. We don't sell mounting hardware.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Standard sets take a 50% deposit at Square checkout to reserve a cut slot; the balance and shipping are invoiced before we ship. Custom work starts with a $75 design fee (credited to the order) or a 50% deposit.

Order confirmation

Before we cut, you must confirm your order: size, pitch, hole size and quantity. For custom work, you confirm by approving a dimensioned proof. You are responsible for checking these details. Proof revisions are free until you approve. Changes after cutting starts that need a re-cut are billed as a new part.

Cancellations and refunds

Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before cutting starts. Once cutting starts, orders can't be cancelled or refunded. See returns and refunds.

Returns and warranty

We don't accept returns, and we never pay return shipping. Products are sold without warranty. If there's an issue with your order, contact us through the contact form and we'll try to resolve it as we're able, case by case.

Sales tax

We collect Maine sales tax on orders delivered to Maine addresses. Buyers outside Maine may owe use tax in their state. Canadian duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.

Ship-by dates

Soft-launch default ship-by is mid-January 2027. We confirm a date for your order.

Shipping and insurance

Shipping is quoted by real box size and weight. Every shipment includes carrier shipping insurance for loss in transit.

Finish

Soft-launch sets ship raw. Raw steel rusts if unprotected; mill scale, rust and color variation are normal and not defects.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including from use of the brackets as structural components.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine.
