How many sets do I need?
Each truss needs two sets, one for each face. The quote form multiplies trusses by two for you.
What thickness of steel do you use?
Two plate options: Standard (7ga), which is 7 gauge A36 at 0.1793" (about 3/16"), and Heavy (1/4"), which is priced by quote.
What finish do soft-launch sets ship in?
Raw unfinished steel only. It will rust outdoors if left unprotected. Powder coat is coming later. Rust on raw steel is not a defect.
Do these brackets carry load?
No. Decorative brackets. These plates are not engineered or rated to carry any load. Your framing must be designed and built to stand on its own without them. Consult a qualified builder or engineer about your framing and connections.
How do deposits work?
A 50% deposit reserves your cut slot on standard sets. The balance is due before we ship. Custom work starts with a $75 design fee (credited to your order if you go ahead) or a 50% deposit. We don't start drawing until it's paid.
Can I get a refund on my deposit?
Standard sets: full refund if you cancel before we start cutting; non-refundable once cut. Custom: cancel before proof approval and get the deposit back minus the design fee; after approval and cutting starts, non-refundable. If we miss the ship-by date we gave you, you can cancel for a full refund any time before it ships.
When will my order ship?
Default ship-by is mid-January 2027. We reply with an honest date for your place in the queue.
Do you include bolts or lags?
No. Hardware not included. Customer supplies lag screws or bolts. Pick your hole size on the product page: 3/8" for about 5/16" lag screws, 7/16" for about 3/8" lag screws or bolts, 9/16" for about 1/2" lag screws or bolts.
What pitches do standard sets come in?
Four common pitches: 6/12, 8/12, 10/12, 12/12. Any other pitch is a custom quote.
Can I order custom shapes (L, Tee, X, hex, octagon, initials)?
Yes, through the quote form. Proofs include one free revision; further revisions are $35 each.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, quoted from ZIP 04652. Duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
Is there free shipping?
No free shipping on heavy sets. Shipping is quoted by real boxed size and weight from ZIP 04652.
