How to order: deposits and ship-by dates

Soft launch

We're taking quotes and deposits now for steel timber bracket sets cut in Trescott, Maine. Default ship-by is mid-January 2027. Soft-launch sets ship raw (unfinished steel). Powder coat is coming later and isn't orderable yet.

Standard sets (from the shop)

A 50% deposit reserves your cut slot. The balance is due before we ship. We send a photo of your finished set with the balance invoice.
Change your mind before we start cutting? We refund your deposit in full. Once your set is cut, the deposit is non-refundable, because the steel is already used.
If we miss the ship-by date we gave you, you can cancel for a full refund at any time before it ships.

Custom work (quote form)

Custom work starts with a $75 design fee (credited to your order if you go ahead) or a 50% deposit. We don't start drawing until it's paid.
Your proof includes one free revision. Further revisions are $35 each.
Before you approve the proof, you can cancel and get your deposit back minus the design fee. After you approve the proof and we start cutting, the deposit is non-refundable.
Changes after approval that need a re-cut are billed as a new part.

Checkout

We use Square for deposits and balance invoices. You pay on a secure Square page or invoice link. Shipping is quoted separately from ZIP 04652 by real box size and weight. There's no free shipping on heavy sets.

Finish

Soft-launch sets ship raw and will rust outdoors if left unprotected. Rust on raw steel is not a defect.
