8" King-Post with Diagonals Set
6-plate king-post truss set with diagonals for 8x8 timbers. 5" strap.
You need 2 sets per truss, one for each face. Two trusses = four sets.

Measure first
Nominal timber sizes are not actual sizes. A 6x6 is usually 5.5" and an 8x8 is usually 7.5". Measure your timbers and tell us if they're different. Odd sizes and pitches go through the custom quote, and we send a proof before we cut.
Images are renderings and drawings from our own CAD until the first sets are cut. Raw steel color and mill scale will vary.
Questions
How many do I need?
Two sets per truss, one for each face.
Do these brackets carry load?
No. They are decorative only. Your framing must stand on its own without them.
Is hardware included?
No. Hardware not included. Customer supplies lag screws or bolts. Pick the hole size that suits your fasteners: 3/8" for about 5/16" lag screws, 7/16" for about 3/8" lag screws or bolts, 9/16" for about 1/2" lag screws or bolts.
What finish?
Raw unfinished steel. It will rust outdoors if left unprotected. Powder coat is coming later.
When does it ship?
Default ship-by is mid-January 2027. We confirm a date for your place in the queue.
